Hi. A quick note on my background: I’ve worked for software companies, startups, digital agencies, and big consulting firms. I’ve spent more than twenty years advising top companies throughout the world on technology strategy, and my thoughts on tech and data have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Daily Mail, CNBC, USA Today, and some other places.

I’m always building side projects. Until recently they were always coding related: a Pinterest affinity engine, a site allowing people with Fitbits to challenge each other to sleep wars, and a few others. But now my side projects are all around fiction that involves technology of some sort.

When I’m not working or writing, I’m usually messing around with some sort of technology or teaching my kids how to pick locks. We all live down here in Austin, TX.

If you want more details about my background (probably not) you can get plenty on LinkedIn.

You can shoot me a note at chris@chris-kerns.com. I’d love to chat.

You can also sign up for my Insiders List, which is a spam-free way to get the latest on fiction I’m writing via an occasional email.
